Gorgeous Merino wool necklace scarves...

We used un-spun merino wool tops to make these quirky necklace scarves. I learnt how to do this at a workshop hosted by my friend Abigail who discovered the technique when finishing her graduate show at Central St. Martins in London.

They are surprisingly warm to wear as smaller scarves or can be spiraled and coiled into a corsage with a few stitches holding in place, the perfect addition to your winter coat!

Thanks to everyone who came along on Tuesday and Saturday,

See you soon for button jewellery...

This week we'll be mostly making owls...and robins!

Hello fellow crafters!

Some of you have already seen the little owls that we'll be making this week but the robin is making his debut appearance right here on the blog...

Join us for a felt and sewing session at Poppy Mae tonight 5 - 7 or Westbourne Library on Saturday 10 - 12 if you fancy making one of these for yourself, for a friend or just for fun!

*For those who can't make it this week, I will email the templates and I'll bring the same bits and pieces next week.

See you soon x x

Anyone for tea...

Thanks again everyone for popping along to last week's WCC, here are a few examples of the teacup pin cushions that we made...

Hope to see you at the next sessions where we'll be mostly making owls!

A tour de force of felt loveliness!

Thank you to all who came along on Tuesday evening to make these wonderful little strawberry brooches, learn how to blanket stitch (sort of!), support a local business and raise £20.29 for Breast cancer care.

Many thanks to Poppy Mae for providing a lovely venue and the perfect atmosphere.

Looking forward to seeing you again for the next project and meeting on 8th November at Poppy Mae.
